I know acrostics are redundant. But at times it helps me to focus. So here's my acrostic for prayer based upon the Lord's prayer and other miscelleaneous material. Matthew 6:9-13 KJV

Prayer Partner Mission Statement: Good Samaritan Prayer Partners are commited to making prayer the primary focus of all we do.
Prayer Partner Slogan: Prayer is the doorway to the heart of the Father.

The Heart of Prayer

Heavenward: "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name."
Expectant: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
Active: "Give us this day our daily bread."
Repentant: "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."
Timeless: "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Good Samaritan Prayer Partners is a group of believers commited to praying for others on a daily and consistent basis. We don't expect any specific style or format for prayer but that individuals be always mindful of the needs of others for as the Apostle Paul has said, "Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17
We will make timely anonymous postings of prayer needs as they are presented to us.
We invite all to become involved to whatever degree they so desire. As we do so, it will be a blessing to all.
