Help for Chile

In Chile winter is approaching and many people are without adequate shelter as a result of the recent earthquake and tsunami. They are being given small wooden shelters. But these shelters have no insulation whatsoever.
The weather conditions in Chile are very difficult with heavy rainfall, high humidity and sub-freezing temperatures. In these conditions, children and the elderly become especially susceptible to various cold related illnesses and diseases.
Many people have lost everything. Good Samaritan Mission is preparing to deliver thousands of thermal blankets to these devastated regions as they combat the ravages of the cold night and rest for the difficult journey ahead.
Can you help us? Will you open your heart to the people of Chile? In May (which is the beginning of winter in Chile), we will be distributing these specially designed thermal blankets door to door.
Just $2 dollars can buy 1 thermal blanket. $10 will supply an average family’s needs. $50 or $100 dollars will help several families. Entire villages have been devastated or washed away. Will you please help? Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.
