 Youth Devotional Page

As I pondered this verse during my devotions one morning, I thought to myself what does the word refuge actually mean? Refuge: “shelter or protection from danger, trouble, etc, or anything to which one has recourse for aid, relief, or escape.” How often do you find yourself needing an escape? For me it’s almost every day. learn more

Oil Spill

The oil rig “Deepwater Horizon” exploded on April 20, 2010 50 miles off the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico. Share: The Goals of Fundraising

At Good Samaritans, we believe that the primary goal of fundraising should be sharing. Therefore, we use the acrostic "Share" to describe our principles of fundraising.
Servant-minded: Our mission is commited to serving others.
Honest: Our causes are honest and true.
Accurate: We strive to accurately reflect, explain, and detail our mission.
Real: Our mission addresses real issues with realistic goals and expectations.
Effective: Our mission is ultimately to be effective and get results.

Getting There

From annual campaign to endowment, Good Samaritans' key strategy is careful planning. We determine the environment in which your organization must operate. We determine constituents' needs and select strategies to provide responsive services. We recruit the appropriate human resources.  We carefully estimate costs and donations. Then we focus our mission with accurate research and prepare honest  presentations.
